We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Engineer within the fields of Structural and structural response, geotechnical, hydrodynamics or Integrated Load Analysis, to join our Concrete Solutions – Offshore Wind team at Fornebu.

Concrete Solutions is an execution-oriented department with deep EPCI competence, focused on delivering high-quality marine concrete substructures for offshore wind, nearshore facilities, and aquaculture. From early conceptual design through detailed engineering and construction, the team integrates constructability methods and product ownership to ensure efficient, scalable, and locally adapted solutions. With a strong track record in international contracting and partnerships, Concrete Solutions leverages cross-functional resources and civil construction capabilities to differentiate itself in competitive markets.

By participating in Aker Solutions’ FEED (Front End Engineering Design) and detailed engineering projects, the candidate will gain a comprehensive understanding of how Aker Solutions executes large-scale projects. This experience will enable the candidate to further develop their skills and take on more responsibilities, potentially advancing to positions with even more responsibility and/or be responsible for the Platforms in Operation portfolio.

What will you be doing?

• Perform calculations and analysis within relevant field of study

• Perform high level engineering assessments within your field of study

• Work with others to continuously improve study methodologies, technical frameworks, and best practices to enhance project efficiency and innovation

• Take on the responsibility of your field of study in the department

• Take on a discipline lead role in early phase studies, FEED and detail engineering projects

• Take on a study lead role for early phase studies

We think you should have:

• 7+ years of experience within offshore wind or oil & gas industries

• In depth capabilities and theoretical understanding within relevant field of study e.g calculations, analysis, etc and an interest in continuing to work within this field of study

• Experience with leading teams is an advantage

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
