Galleon Embedded Technology is experiencing rapid growth and increasing global demand for its cutting-edge products. With offices in Oslo, Munich, and London, and as part of the U.S.-based Spectra group, we're now seeking our first Head of HR to build and lead a scalable HR function that supports our ambitious journey ahead. This is a rare opportunity to take full ownership of HR strategy and operations in a company with strong momentum, a great culture, and global ambitions. As Head of HR, you'll report to the CEO in Oslo and be part of the executive leadership team. You'll also collaborate with central HR in Atlanta and support our international offices when needed.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Manage day-to-day HR operations at the Oslo office 
• Design and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals
• Build a scalable HR framework and an annual activity cycle
• Develop professional processes that ensure a great candidate and employee experience in the employee lifecycle 
• Identify training needs and drive competence development initiatives in close collaboration with managers 
• Establish systems for succession planning
• Ensure compliance with Norwegian labor laws and HSE regulations

Rome was not built in a day, and we do not expect you to build our HR function alone overnight - you'll have support, time and trust to shape it step by step. 

Who you are:

We're looking for someone who combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution. You're passionate about people, growth, and building something meaningful.
 

Qualifications:

• Higher education in HR, psychology, leadership, business, or similar
• 5+ years of experience in both strategic and operational HR
• Solid understanding of Norwegian labor law and HR compliance
• Experience from tech, engineering, or international growth companies is an advantage

• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
