We are seeking a structured, motivated, and service-minded Bar Professional to join our dynamic team at one of Norway’s largest and most diverse venues in the heart of Oslo.

As a Unit Manager, you'll have the overall responsibility

You'll craft strategies, lead the team, and establish guidelines for the unit. We're seeking a caring leader and confident decision-maker who will help our employees develop while ensuring good results for the unit. Your efforts will be crucial for the company's growth and success.

Your tasks as Unit Manager include overseeing the daily operations of the unit, ensuring the company's goals, guidelines, and budgets are met, and being a supportive leader for the staff, creating a pleasant and attractive workplace.

You'll have broad responsibilities as Unit Manager, including personnel recruitment, budget monitoring, implementation of marketing strategies, event planning, and more.

To succeed in the role of Unit Manager, good communication skills and organizational abilities are essential for maintaining daily operations and leading the team towards success.

This position reports to the assigned Line Manager in Noho Norway and will collaborate with various departments within the group, such as Finance and HR.

Key Responsibilities:

• • Developing strategy and setting growth goals
  • Daily operations management
  • Managing budgets and optimizing expenses
  • Create and manage staffing schedules to ensure seamless service
  • Oversee recruitment, training, and ongoing professional development for staff
  • Manage inventory, ordering, budgeting, and cost control in collaboration with the Unit Manager
  • Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations, hygiene standards, and Norwegian alcohol laws
  • Manage POS systems and payment terminals efficiently
  • Uphold Kulturhuset’s shared vision and promote a positive team environment

Desired Qualifications and Skills

• • Experience in a fast paced, high tempo late night environment
  • Experience as a daily manager or equivalent leadership role
  • Experience with planning and budgeting, having analytical skills
  • Good communication and organizational abilities and problem-solving skills
