We are looking for a service-minded receptionist to join our dedicated front desk team at our scenic hotel on Sommarøy, a stunning island location just 55 km from Tromsø city center.

As a receptionist, you are the first and last point of contact for our guests. You will help ensure a smooth and memorable stay whether our guests are here for a holiday, conference, wedding, or simply to enjoy the peaceful beauty of Northern Norway.

We have openings for both evening and night shifts, offering full-time permanent positions.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience from reception, hospitality, or customer service
• Works independently and reliably
• Handles a fast-paced environment calmly and professionally
• Has strong communication skills in English (knowledge of a Scandinavian language is a plus)
• Is confident using computer systems and booking software
• Enjoys creating a warm and service-minded environment for guests and colleagues

Sommarøy Arctic Hotel offers a total of 155 rooms, including 74 suites, superior and standard rooms, as well as 81 rooms located in 23 seaside cabins and fishermen’s cabins (rorbuer).
