We are seeking a Head of ERP and IT to take the lead in building our digital backbone, from implementing our ERP system to designing the digital infrastructure that supports and enables our operations to scale. As the first member of the IT team you will combine day-to-day operations with strategic thinking to implement robust and resilient data systems, enabling smart operations and data-driven decision support.

The role requires both long term strategic vision and active operational involvement. As Head of ERP and IT Strategy, you will lead the rollout of a modern ERP system and build the IT infrastructure that supports our company as we grow. You will collaborate closely with people across production, supply chain, service, engineering, finance, and R&D to connect systems, improve operations, and make data more accessible. One of your first key projects will be implementing the ERP and MES systems for our Gigawatt factory, set to begin operations in Q1 2027.

ERP Implementation & Optimization

• Lead implementation of ERP modules to meet business needs
• Lead implementation of MES for our GW factory.
• Gather requirements across departments (finance, supply chain, operations, etc.) and map current/future business processes.
• Ensure smooth integration with other key systems (e.g., CRM, inventory, production planning, finance).
• Support and enable ERP reporting and dashboards for e.g. production performance, inventory levels, order tracking, and cost controls.

IT Infrastructure & Systems Management

• Manage day to day IT support and purchases.
• Manage IT security, compliance, and data privacy in line with best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee the implementation and maintenance of key business applications, cloud services, and network systems.
• Select and manage external vendors, consultants, and service providers.

Digital Operation & Continuous Improvement

• Champion digital innovation across Hystar identifying opportunities to automate, optimize, and standardize processes.
• Support the development of a data-driven culture by enabling access to high-quality operational data.
• Collaborate with leadership to define KPIs and business intelligence tools for tracking e.g. manufacturing efficiency, quality, and sustainability metrics.
• Stay up-to-date with best practices and technologies in smart manufacturing, Industry 5.0, and sustainable operation.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 Business Central and MES-systems is an advantage, but not a formal requirement

• Master of Science in Data Science or similar relevant education.
• 5+ years of experience in ERP implementation and IT leadership, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Proven expertise in deploying and customizing ERP systems for production environments.
• Solid understanding of IT systems architecture, infrastructure, and cybersecurity.
• Experience integrating systems across production, supply chain, and business functions.
• Strong project management and change management skills.
• Hands-on, pragmatic, and comfortable working in fast-paced, build-from-scratch environments.
• Passion for sustainability and using technology for real-world impact.
