We are looking for two Customer Support Specialists, Arendal

We are looking for two highly motivated, organized and service-minded persons to join the Customer Support team in Arendal; one will work within P&I Underwriting and one within Claims.

The members of the teams deliver high quality support to our Underwriters and Claims handles as part of Gard's marine insurance activities worldwide.

For the position within P&I Underwriting, your primary focus will be:

• Onboarding customers
• Entering and maintaining client and broker information
• Entering and maintaining policy and premium data
• Producing and distributing insurance and invoice documentation to customers
• Conducting KYC/sanction checks
• Supporting Underwriting with various administrative tasks
• Responding to customer queries

For the position within Claims, your primary focus will be:

• Processing and handling high-efficiency claims
• Managing claims payments and related transactions
• Responding to customer queries
• Maintaining a continuous focus on improving our services and practices
• Performing other claims-related tasks

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or similar and/or relevant experience
  
• Accounting knowledge (for the position within Claims)
  
• A structured approach to work, with strong attention to details
  
• Can work under pressure, is proactive and self-driven
  
• Is ICT literate and quick to learn systems and procedures
  
• Keen to build cross-functional competence and highly motivated to learn as well as share knowledge
  
• Self-motivated and a team player with an improvement mindset
  
• Has strong communication skills and cultural awareness
• 
  
  A good command of spoken and written English is required
