About the Role

We're looking for a Senior Data Scientist / Analytics Engineer to lead high-value analytics Supply Chain initiatives from concept to implementation. This is a strategic, hands-on position where you'll partner closely with cross-functional teams to turn data into meaningful business outcomes. Key Responsibilities

• Lead complex analytical projects end-to-end, from initial scoping and problem framing to final delivery and stakeholder communication.

• Design and build predictive and statistical models that directly inform key business decisions.

• Formulate and test hypotheses, meticulously measure the impact of your analyses, and translate complex insights into clear, actionable narratives for various audiences.

• Drive informed business decisions by leveraging your expertise in tools like SQL, Python, DBT, and Snowflake.

• Ensure quality, accuracy, and reliability of our data pipelines and analytical models.

• Provide thought leadership in ambiguous problem spaces, proactively generating hypotheses and making data-informed recommendations that push the business forward.

Minimum qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.

• 6+ years of experience in analytics, data science, or similar roles.

• Strong coding proficiency in SQL and Python.

• Demonstrated experience building analytical models and conducting statistical analyses in a real-world business context.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly.

Preferred qualifications

• Master’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or Computer Science.

• Hands-on experience with Spark/Snowpark, DBT, Snowflake, and a major cloud platform (Azure, AWS, or GCP).

• Familiarity with BI tools such as Power BI and Tableau.

• Background in logistics or retail analytics.

• Experience designing experimentation frameworks, applying causal inference approaches, and developing predictive modelling (ML modelling is a plus).

• Proven track record of solving unstructured business problems with data science, translating insights into actionable business recommendations, and effectively measuring the success of those initiatives.
