About The Role

As an industrial mechanic, you play a key role in the maintenance and optimization of mechanical systems, with a main focus on pumps, cooling systems and other relevant components. The role requires expertise in mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting and repair.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Perform regular maintenance on mechanical systems, especially pumps and cooling systems.

• Diagnose and resolve errors and defects to ensure continuous operation.

• Identify opportunities for optimizing mechanical systems to improve efficiency and reliability.

• Collaborate with other disciplines such as automation engineers and engineers to solve complex mechanical challenges.

• Maintaining mechanical systems, including HVAC units, RDHx  systems, chillers, pumps, and cooling towers.

About You:

Skills & Experience

• Certificate as an industrial mechanic or equivalent qualifications.

• Desired 2+ years of relevant experience as an industrial mechanic or equivalent role.

• Relevant work experience in maintenance, repair and optimization of industrial machinery and mechanical systems, with specific focus on pumps, cooling systems and similar equipment.

• Experience in maintaining technical aspects of buildings and associated support systems.

• Reliability in carrying out assigned responsibilities and meeting deadlines.

• Accuracy and attention to detail, analytical skills for effective troubleshooting.

• Ability to work independently and in a team.

• Solid communication skills in both English and Norwegian, verbally and in writing.
