We’re now looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to join our Subsea Power Distribution team based in Tranby or Fornebu. Join us now!

This is a highly influential role at the intersection of technology, leadership, and sustainability.

What will you be doing?

As Engineering Manager for Subsea Power Distribution, you will play a key role in leading and ensuring the successful execution of engineering deliverables across all project phases. You'll head a multidisciplinary engineering team, ensuring technical quality, cross-functional coordination, and delivery of safe, cost-effective, and innovative power solutions for offshore and renewable energy applications.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Lead and guide engineering teams working on subsea power systems, including high-voltage cables, connectors, and subsea substations

• Work closely with the Project Manager to meet project deadlines, control costs, and reduce technical risks

• Take part in design reviews and technical evaluations to ensure robust and scalable solutions

• Coordinate with R&D teams to stay updated on new technologies and support smooth product integration

• Act as a technical contact point for clients, partners, and internal teams

• Represent engineering in reviews, audits, and meetings — building trust through clear communication and solid execution

• Ensure effective use of SAP PLM and PEM tools for life-cycle and process management

We think you should have:

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Subsea or a related engineering discipline

• 10+ years of experience in offshore or subsea engineering, including 3+ years in a technical leadership role

• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver complex engineering projects

• Solid understanding of systems engineering, product development, and project life-cycles

• Familiarity with digital engineering and PLM tools (e.g. SAP) is a plus

• Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust across disciplines and stakeholders
