Business Operations, Skuld Hull
Skuld Hull are currently searching for a person to work with Business Operations/Documentation for our Skuld Hull Business Unit in Oslo. In this role you will collaborate closely with the Underwriting, Accounting and Claims department and have an important control function of insurance documentation and premium. You will be part of a small team, with a hands-on approach and an eye for details.
As a Business Operations Executive in Skuld, you will be part of a world leading marine insurance provider where service and competence is key. Responsibilities include:
- Control risks structure and numbers/calculations in our production system INS2000+ (e.g. insurance values, premium, terms and conditions).
- Register and close premium and changes during the policy period.
- Be able to adapt various numbers/information received from broker into our production system and solve complex calculations.
- Maintain and follow up existing portfolio (e.g. documentation/closings).
- Register accounts into our CRM.
- Respond and follow up enquiries from Brokers.
- Work in compliance with current policies, instructions, guidelines and personal authority in Skuld Hull.
Qualifications and qualities
- 3 years of relevant education (e.g. economy, administration etc) or relevant work experience.
- Highly proficient in excel (good knowledge on how to make good structure, use formulas and set up calculations etc.)
- High level of competence and be comfortable with numbers/calculations (e.g. percentage and general calculation from gross to net with various bonuses/deduction)
- Is expected to take responsibility for a specific area (e.g. portfolio of brokers).
- Is structured, proactive and solution oriented, with attention to details.
- Have good communication skills – internally and externally – verbal and written, in both English and Norwegian.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
