Job purpose: 

Ensure our customers have the best possible experience with our services and solutions by keeping Real Time Information (RTI) backend services and environments monitored, healthy, and well-maintained.  

Key Responsibilities: 

• Diagnose and solve issues related to services 

• Aid and be escalation point for other D&C team members or colleagues in other teams 

• Participate and own receival of handover, review procedures, and ensure their quality and correctness  

• Participate in planning and execution of deployments 

• Participate in project delivery 

• Test, install, maintain, upgrade products 

• Monitor and investigate service statuses (health checks) 

• Prepare documentation for both internal and external stakeholders, such as: 

• Solution guides and technical/how-to instructions 

• Manuals 

• Participate in root cause analysis, investigate incidents  

Additional activities: 

• Support sales efforts, such as preparing demo environments, give input to cost calculations, and document reviews 

• Participation in on-call shift cycle after additional on-boarding 

• Night time work (deployments) will be required 

The ideal candidate will be / have: 

• Proven abilities with IT services/informatics, e.g. Bachelor's Degree or extensive/comparable experience 

• Customer service experience (phone/e-mail) 

• Experience with 

• Documentation - structured/technical writing 

• Development (coding or scripting, any language) 

• XML and JSON and wrangling data into structure(s) 

• Web services on Windows 

• Web applications, and working with APIs 

• Kubernetes, Rancher, Kibana 

• Database services, creating and analyzing structured queries  

 Desirable but not essential: 

• Experience providing services in or to the public transport sector 

• Basic knowledge of GNU/Linux  

• Experience with Mobile Device Management, for example SOTI MDM 

• Experience with web development  

• Experience with Jira 

• ITIL certification 

• PRINCE2 certification (or equivalent) 

• A solid command of languages outside of English could be a plus, particularly Norwegian, Swedish, Danish, or Polish
