Aker Solutions’ New Build segment delivers oil & gas and renewables offshore developments and fabrication products, mainly focused on the Norwegian Continental Shelf and selective international markets. The segment is responsible for large EPCI projects, both within oil and gas and renewables, including business development and project execution, typically large topsides including fixed or floating substructures, onshore facilities, FPSOs offshore wind HVDC topside and jackets, offshore aquaculture floaters and decommissioning and recycling.

What will you be doing?

As an EIT Engineer, you will support design verification and ensure efficient execution of work packages. Your responsibilities will include:

• Reviewing and verifying engineering and vendor documentation

• Providing feedback to suppliers on missing information and discrepancies

• Ensuring the build method is implemented in EIT shop engineering

• Dividing work into efficient and production-friendly packages

• Verifying installation location and HSSE-friendly design in PDMS (3D model)

• Implementing design change notices (DCNs) in work packages

• Preparing EIT work packages and coordinating across disciplines

• Interfacing with EIT, piping, structure, civil, HVAC, suppliers, subcontractors, production, and planning

• Collaborating with IT/IS on engineering registers, E3D/Navis, and MIPS

• Promoting strong HSSE performance throughout the work
  

We think you should have:

• Experience with design verification and technical coordination

• Strong understanding of EIT, installation processes, and 3D model review

• Fluency in Norwegian

• Familiarity with tools such as PDMS, E3D, Navis, and MIPS

• Ability to structure and optimize work packages for production

• Solid coordination skills across multiple disciplines and teams

• A proactive mindset with a strong focus on HSSE

• Good communication skills and ability to give clear technical feedback
