As the tenant of Hygge, you will be the heart of the place.

You will ensure that our guests experience the true Norwegian “hygge” experience, welcoming them with tasty home-made bakeries & toasts, fresh coffee, in a beautiful place you always keep attractive.

We are looking for one motivated colleague to join us and make the streets of Stranda smell cinnamon all year around!

If you :

• You have experience in business development, with confirmed success in direct sales to customer

• You are happy to bake / prepare good, sound and innovating meals to customers, and serve them - Some knowledge / experience in food industry will be appreciated, otherwise your eagerness to learn is expected

• You are motivated by the tourism industry and you thrive giving the best customer experience to our guests

• You have a good presentation

• You are able to handle stress (there can be very busy times)

• You are fluent in English / Norwegian is a strong plus

• With equal qualifications, strong preference will be given to a candidate with solid local anchorage

• A permanent position as an adventure shop tenant / baker on a 70-80% schedule, in an international growing company, firmly anchored in the local beautiful territory of the Sunnmøre

• An experience in a very collaborative environment, when you truly enjoy being part of a team

• A chance to take initiatives, make grow the company while developing yourself

Then this future job could be yours, and your responsibilities to:

• Develop and maintain Hygge as the "Place to be in Stranda"

• Welcome Hygge’s guests and promote the bakery / coffee / adventure products

• Ensure the best experience to Hygge’s guests with preparing and serving coffee, bakeries, and different sorts of toasts

• Develop and implement the activity programme that will animate Hygge in the local community / for Uteguiden’s clients (afterskis, social events…)

• Maintain the high standard of Hygge’s place

• Take part in other activities around the place like ski rental

• Gather Uteguiden customers´ feedbacks and take initiative for proposing and implementing any improvement
