We now have an opening for a Maintenance Engineer at Morrow Cell Factory in Arendal

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Maintenance Engineer to ensure the smooth operation and reliability of our production equipment. This role is vital to maintaining high efficiency, minimizing downtime, and supporting continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and oversee preventive maintenance to maximize equipment uptime and reliability.
• Diagnose and resolve equipment issues promptly; support upgrades and installations.
• Work closely with production and process engineering teams to optimize performance and implement improvements.
• Provide technical guidance and training to maintenance and production staff.
• Ensure all activities meet safety standards; conduct audits and risk assessments.
• Track KPIs, analyze maintenance data, and report on performance and cost control.
• Uphold 5S standards for a clean and efficient work environment.

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Automation Engineering.
• Proven experience in a manufacturing setting
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and automation systems.
• Proficient with maintenance software and tools.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
• PLC programming and control systems.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles
