The project manager is responsible, after handover meeting with sales and marketing, for establishing projects to execute customer contracts according to terms and conditions.

Area of Responsibility

ONSHORE

• Ensure fully comprehension of customer contract terms and conditions

• Project planning – hereunder establishing the project structure and P&L

• Continuous communication with the customer regarding scope of work, cost and timing

• Develop project specific procedures for the upcoming operation

• Issue request to the organization in order to deliver according to customer timeline and follow up on mobilizations regarding

  • equipment

  • engineering

  • crew

     

• Ensure that proper HSEQ planning and risk assessments are executed including deviation control

• Issue VOR’s to the customer if scope, cost or timing changes

• Reporting on project status and progress

• Perform necessary follow up and mitigations if necessary

• Crew briefings prior to offshore operation

• Involved in personnel management and appraisal dialogues

• Follow up on the ongoing operation/ projects

• Invoicing and follow-up

• Evaluation of the project and post job reporting

• Managing international projects, may including periods on site

OFFSHORE

• The project manager may be sent offshore if needed for management follow up, site visits or personal experience needed to execute future projects.

Education /Qualifications

Required

• Minimum mechanical or electrical certificate of apprenticeship

• English verbal and written

Requested

• Bachelor degree engineering or 2 years technical college

• Basic knowledge of project management

• Offshore certificates

Skills/Experience

• 3 years working experience as a supervisor/team leader/foreman

• Computer skills within standard software

• Preferable experience within the offshore industry
