We're hiring a Mechanical Project Engineer

RAFT suppression AS develops and delivers fire suppression systems, and other safety systems for the maritime industry. Our products are used worldwide, and we are now seeking a Project Engineer to strengthen our engineering team.

About the position

As a Project Engineer at RAFT, you will be responsible for the design and engineering of low-pressure water mist systems and other fire suppression solutions. This includes hydraulic calculations, system drawings, documentation, and providing technical support during the sales process. The role focuses on engineering and design, while also offering support during commissioning. You will work closely with our technical team and collaborate with customers, subcontractors, and colleagues to meet our high standards for quality and the requirements of marine classification authorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical design, hydraulics, or related fields

• Experience with technical design and tools such as AutoCAD

• Experience in the maritime sector is an advantage

• Fluent in Norwegian and English, both spoken and written
