In close cooperation with the customer, Vard Electro offers effective and environmentally friendly solutions with a focus on optimization of the operational performance. Vard Electro works with all established brands in the market, thereby giving customers smart solutions with a high degree of flexibility. Currently more than 300 vessels are sailing with integrated electrical systems, including complete systems for power management, propulsion, automation, and navigation, delivered by Vard Electro.
Your workday
As our Sales Manager Aftermarket, you´ll join a forward-thinking, goal-oriented company at the forefront of technological innovation. You will operate on both a technical and commercial level, working closely with existing and new customers across diverse international markets. The role involves travel and a dynamic workday where you engage in customer meetings, identify needs, and offer a tailored aftermarket solution.
You will collaborate with internal teams and contribute to long-term customer satisfaction and business growth. This role reports to the VP Retrofit & Service and is based at our headquarters in Tennfjord.
Some of your key responsibilities
Develop and follow up on Sales & Marketing plans for product upgrades, service, and spare parts
Engage with customers and sales activities, including worldwide customer visits, lead follow-up and attending exhibitions and conferences
Prepare calculations, quotations and technical documentations for aftermarket projects and sales opportunities
Manage contract documentation and supplier coordination, including customer negotiations, obtaining quotes, and ensuring delivery timelines
Who we´re looking for.
We are looking for someone with either a strong technical understanding, solid sales experience, or ideally a combination of both. Experience with electrical and/or automation systems is an advantage. A bachelor´s or master´s degree in relevant fields is preferred but not required. We encourage all candidates to apply.
You are fluent in English, both written and spoken. Strong commercial and negotiating skills will be considered an advantage.
As a person, you have a can-do attitude and enjoy working both independently and as part of a team. You thrive in dynamic environments and are adaptable to new situations, people and challenges.
