Opportunity as Senior Automation Engineer

For client we are looking for a skilled automation engineer to work in a large oil & gas FEED project consisting of new platform design, brownfield modification work and interface to several contractual interfaces. The right candidate will have the opportunity to develop his/her skills within engineering of Automation systems, working with the SAS safety system design.

Responsibilities:

Tasks include:
-System Design, interface and follow up of ESD, PSD and F&G System as appointed by automation team lead
-Develop SAS Safety system design according to project requirements and at required detail level (FS, Hierarchy design, C&E, FPDS, I/O and HMI sketch input)
-Design and specify SIS solutions that are aligned with existing plant, for integration of SIS systems.
-Specification of Global SIS system design through contractual interfaces
-Participation in required multidiscipline reviews
-Ensure that vendor and engineering information required for progress of the work is identified and communicated to the project
-Interface to other disciplines, contractors, suppliers and client
-Offshore survey may be required

Qualifications:

-Efficient communicator, who communicate well in English - Both orally and in writing
-Cooperative working attitude and acceptance for multicultural team environment
-Ability to work independently as well as in team
-Systematic and accurate, with high loyalty to deadline and quality requirements
-Proactive, seeking advice and share own experiences with others

Required Certificates:
-FSE-course, valid through the engagement
-Ex-course, valid through the engagement

Work Experience:

-Minimum 8 years’ experience from automation engineering in green field projects
-Minimum 5 years’ Experience from automation and SIS system design, including experience with brownfield modifications on a SIS system.
-Experience and thorough knowledge of automation design and networks according to relevant standards such as NORSOK, ATEX, PTIL, and IEC
