Engineer with a mechanical, electrical or marine background to Bergen, Norway office

ABOUT THE JOB

Danelec has since the early 1970’s supplied the marine industry with accurate and reliable tools for performance monitoring of vessels and propulsion machinery and is recognized as one of the major players in the maritime safety and ship performance monitoring space.

To support these business units, and our aspiration to be recognized as the best and most trustworthy data partner for maritime solutions, we are now looking for an engineer with a mechanical, electrical, or marine background.

We’re looking for a team player who can fill the Engineer position in our small but important Engineering team at Danelec in Bergen, Norway.

Your responsibilities

• System design for Ship Performance Systems, both for new buildings and retrofit 

• Customer contact in design phase

• Drawings and Documentation required for production and installation

• Support for our production, installation, and service departments

• Main tasks will be shaped based on your unique experience and knowledge.

About you

You are eager to learn and develop yourself and your colleagues. You are either graduated, an experienced marine engineer / mechanical engineer / electrical engineer or similar.

You have a general good understanding of IT.

You are competent in Norwegian and fluent written and spoken English.
 

You have:
