A stunning Ring set in 14K Gold Plated 925 Silver and featuring perfect Hebei Peridot from China with wonderful Welo Opals from Ethiopia. Peridot is the August Birthstone and it is associated with the Zodiac signs of Leo, Libra and Gemini. Peridot activates the Heart Chakra and Solar Plexus Chakra and is thought to increase the energy of love, happiness and prosperity, bring peace to relationships and release negative emotions. In ancient Egypt Peridot was called ”the gem of the sun” and used as amulets and in tombs to ward off evil spirits. The Romans appreciated Peridot for its brilliant shine that does not fade under artificial light, calling it the “evening Emerald.”
Opal is an October Birthstone and is also the stone given to celebrate the 14th Wedding Anniversary. The dramatic play-of-colour has inspired writers to compare it to fireworks, galaxies and volcanoes. Bedouins once believed Opal held lightning and fell from the sky during thunderstorms.
