Do you want to be a Phased Array Inspector with 14/21 rotation?

As Aker Solutions’ global recruitment partner NES Advantage is now looking for: Phased Array Inspectors for exciting projects based in Stord. The position offers a 14/21 rotation schedule.
 
Aker Solutions’ New Build segment delivers oil & gas and renewables offshore developments and fabrication products, mainly focused on the Norwegian Continental Shelf and selective international markets. The segment is responsible for large EPCI projects, both within oil and gas and renewables, including business development and project execution, typically large topsides including fixed or floating substructures, onshore facilities, FPSOs offshore wind HVDC topside and jackets, offshore aquaculture floaters and decommissioning and recycling.
 
 
What will you be doing?

• Perform Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT) on welds, piping, and structural components in accordance with applicable standards and procedures

• Interpret and evaluate PAUT data to identify discontinuities, defects, or potential areas of concern

• Accurately document inspection results in compliance with project specifications and quality requirements

• Ensure all testing equipment is properly calibrated and maintained

• Collaborate closely with quality teams, engineers, and project managers to support project goals and timelines

• Adhere strictly to all HSE regulations and site-specific safety protocols

• Assist during audits and third-party inspections as required

• Perform visual inspections and support other NDT methods as needed

 
Qualifications we think you should have:

• Documented experience with PAUT inspection of Duplex and Super Duplex welds (mandatory)

• ISO 9712 Level II certification in UT & PAUT

• Proven experience with Austenitic weld inspection (mandatory)

• Additional certifications in PT, MT, and TOFD are advantageous

• Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written

• A positive attitude with strong collaboration and communication skills
