Project Manager LMG Marin AS

Position overview

The project manager position will provide the opportunity for participation in a diverse range of engineering projects, and cooperation with LMG colleagues with long and varied experience. The role will involve a wide variety of tasks, focusing on:

• Responsibility for technical, financial and plan-related execution of projects according to LMG Marin procedures and project-specific requirements

• Involvement in planning and estimation of new projects, including coordination with sales and marketing team

• Contact with clients, subcontractors, authorities, project participants and other project interfaces as relevant

• Participate in projects and carry out work tasks in accordance with project plans. Includes technical work and production of deliverables as well as project management and administration work

• Coordinate work carried out by other technical personnel

• Check and approve work carried out by other technical personnel

• Keep track of project finances

Who should apply?

Candidates should have completed relevant technical education, typically to Bachelor or Master level. A background from ship design and/or ship production is preferable and previous project management experience is advantageous, as is a desire to further develop project management and technical skills as part of LMG Marin's project management team. Equivalent qualifications and/or experience may also be considered.
