About the Role

Roboxi is seeking a skilled and motivated Field Service Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing on-site technical support, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting services for our autonomous airport inspection robot.

This role requires a highly skilled, independent, and customer-focused individual with a strong technical background and excellent problem-solving abilities. The ideal candidate will be a proactive communicator, able to build strong relationships with clients, and committed to delivering exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, test, commission, and maintain equipment at airports primarily in Europe, but also on other continents.

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and software issues.

• Provide technical support and training to customers on product usage and troubleshooting.

• Document service reports, work performed, and parts used accurately.

• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to report product issues and improvements.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product functionality, software updates, and industry trends.

Requirements

• Background within Automation, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Relevant experience may compensate for lack of education.

• Proven experience as a field service engineer, technician, or similar role.

• Strong problem-solving skills and technical aptitude.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

• Proficient with diagnostic tools, schematics, and service manuals.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively.

• Clean criminal record.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with remote diagnostics and support tools

• Familiarity with PLCs, control systems, and software configuration.

• Familiarity with automation or aviation industry

• Multilingual abilities
