ROC Operator

Join our dynamic team at Reach Subsea Remote, a leader in underwater exploration and technology. We are first in class when it comes to Remote Unmanned Vessels. With two of our first Reach Remote USVs in operation, we are seeking skilled and motivated ROC Operators to contribute to exciting and challenging projects in the field of marine robotics. All necessary training will be provided through our extensive in-house program at Husøy. Responsibilities

• Operate, launch, and recover underwater tooling and robotics safely under varying sea and weather conditions from our onshore control rooms.
• Document and report on missions and technical performance.
• Participate in task plan reviews, toolbox talks, task-based risk assessments.
• Collaborate with engineering and research teams to optimize operations.
• Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards.
• Ensure ROC operations are conducted in compliance with applicable regulations, client specifications, and internal procedures.

Qualifications

• Education in a relevant field, such as marine technology, robotics, IT, software and networking, or a related discipline, will be an advantage, but is not an essential requirement.
• Proven experience operating ROVs, AUVs and/or drones in diverse environments is considered an advantage.
• Strong hand-eye coordination, spatial awareness, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent gaming skills are desirable.
• Fluent in English and Norwegian.
• A team player with excellent communication skills.
• Minimum three years of work experience.
