Classic Royal Navy Submariners sweater. First used by the Royal Navy in WW2 and still issued today. They were also adopted by RAF fighter pilots during the Battle of Britain in 1940 as their planes were unheated.
Still made to the same design as 85 years ago by various military contractors in the UK.
Made from heavy weight 3 ply wool with reinforced shoulder seams, the high Polo neck will keep your neck warm, with long cuffs and long hem. They are designed to be close fitting so the don't snagg on things in the confined space of Submariners.
Størrelse Medium, UK 38"chest=48 european size. It was to small for me when it arrived so selling it in new condition as it is unworn.
A real Classic piece of clothing.
