Due to increased research and development projects, WELL ID is seeking a Scientific Programmer to join our dynamic software team. What we need:

Well ID is seeking an experienced software engineer. Our innovations team develops data processing and interpretation solutions implemented in an engineering environment. The person we are seeking should have experience not only in standard scientific programming but also in software architecture.  We have numerous projects which are maturing from R&D to full commercialization which need to be optimized and automated.

Requirements:

• Essential:

  • 5 years’ professional experience working as a software engineer

  • Good understanding of software architecture

  • Strong knowledge in general programming (C, C++, Python, or similar)

  • Fluent in English, both written and oral

  • Live in the Stavanger-area

• Preferred:

  • Strong collaboration skills

  • Eager to learn and develop new solutions as part of a team

WELL ID is located at Forus, featuring office, electrolab and workshop facilities. We pride ourselves on a flat leadership structure that fosters open communication and rapid development from idea to implementation. In our office we are 15 dedicated employees with different background and experience. In addition we colleborate with other partners and consulents working from other countries.
