Are you an experienced logistics professional ready to take on a key role in supporting project operations? We are currently seeking a Material Planner to join a forward-leaning Operational Excellence team within a well-established industrial organization.

About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and optimizing the material supply process for engineering and production projects. Your efforts will directly impact the efficiency of project execution by ensuring timely material availability and seamless coordination across departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop procurement plans using demand forecasts and historical consumption data.

• Align material supply with production schedules and project timelines.

• Analyze Bill of Quantities (BoQ) to identify required materials.

• Collaborate closely with project managers, procurement, and logistics to ensure smooth material flow.

• Establish and continuously improve planning procedures and routines for project materials.

Qualifications and Experience

• Higher education in logistics, industrial economics, engineering, or business. Relevant experience may compensate for formal education.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in material planning, logistics, or related engineering roles.

• Proficiency in planning tools and systems, including SAP, Microsoft Excel, and Power BI.

• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Norwegian language skills are an advantage.

• Strong ability to coordinate across functions and adapt in dynamic project environments.

• Structured, analytical, and solution-oriented mindset with attention to detail.
