Job responsibilities:

•    Aligning material supply to production and project needs, ensuring materials are available as per schedule

•    Analysis of Bill of Quantities to derive required materials.

•    Coordinating closely with project management, procurement, and logistics to synchronize material movements and eliminate bottlenecks

•    Establishing, maintaining, and continuously improve the project's material planning procedures and routines. 

Your experience and qualifications:

•    Higher education within logistics, industrial economics, business/economics, or engineering. Relevant work experience as material planner can compensate for lack of formal education. 

•    Minimum three years of work experience as material planner, or within logistics or engineering. 

•    Strong system understanding and expertise in material planning tool, including SAP, Microsoft Excel and Power BI. 

•    Fluency in English, both verbal and written, is a crucial skill.

•    Proficiency in the Norwegian language is considered an advantage.

•    Ability to work collaboratively across functions and drive cross-team coordination

•    Personal characteristics such as forward-thinking, solution-oriented, and adaptable

•    Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and maintain accuracy.
