About the role

We’re looking for experienced full-stack and backend developers who want to build great products in small, empowered teams

We’re hiring in our Biometrics and Identity Proofing teams, so there’s room to match your interest and expertise:

• The Biometrics team builds secure, user-friendly, and scalable face biometrics and has a strong expertise in AI and machine learning. The solutions consists of SDKs and APIs deployed as both self-managed and SaaS services.

• The Identity Proofing team is building robust SDKs, APIs, and services for physical and digital onboarding flows

You'll join a small and focused team where your impact matters. You’ll play a key role in shaping the direction and way of working for the team

Your area of responsibility

• Design, build, and maintain secure and scalable SDKs and/or APIs

• Deploy and monitor our SaaS services and/or streamline our deliveries to customers who are self-hosting our offerings

• Contribute to team practices, culture, and continuous improvement

• Drive security, reliability, scalability, privacy, and usability for both end users and developers as a core part of how we build

What we are looking for

• Proven experience in designing, developing, delivering APIs, services and technology components

• Experience in Kotlin and/or Python (or deep expertise in similar languages and a willingness to learn)

• Understanding of secure SDLC and building for regulated environments

• You want to evolve the team you are part of by building great products that our customers want, improving our development practices, developing your team members, as well as caring about setting a direction for the product and tech stack

• You’re proactive, self-managing, and thrive in hybrid work settings

Furthermore, it is a bonus if you have experience working with:

• Machine learning pipelines, biometric systems, identity proofing, authentication, or security-oriented products

• IaC, Kubernetes, Azure

• Developing or working with team members developing SDKs/Apps for iOS, Android and cross-platform frameworks

Location

• Our offices are located in Gjøvik and Oslo, with the role based in Gjøvik or the Oslo/Innlandet region. We are a hybrid organization that often meet up at our Gjøvik Offices.
