As our Head of Projects, you will be responsible for driving project excellence and cultivating a strong innovation culture at Norrøna. You will own and continuously improve our project methodology and innovation process, ensuring that initiatives across the organization are strategically aligned, efficiently executed, and delivered on time with exceptional quality.
This role is central to enabling cross-functional collaboration. You will actively lead, coach, and support teams, empowering them to work effectively using modern digital tools and agile methodologies.
You will lead a cross-functional department of 10 skilled professionals, including 7 developers and 3 business developers.
As Head of Projects, you are expected to demonstrate strong leadership—motivating, guiding, and developing your team while fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Main responsibilities
- Run and oversee execution of all active projects, ensuring quality delivery and strategic alignment
- Lead project selection and prioritization across the company in close collaboration with the Management Team
- Foster project accountability through structured reporting and post-project evaluations
- Build a strong, execution-focused culture within your team and across the organization
- Own and continuously improve the Norrøna Innovation Process and Project Method

Qualifications
- Relevant bachelor or master’s degree
- Proven experience in leading complex, cross-functional projects
- Demonstrates advanced proficiency in digital tools and technologies
- Leadership experience with a clear track record of developing teams
- Excellent in Norwegian and English is a requirement
