Factlines is a SaaS company for Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) software specializing in supply chain sustainability, supplier risk management and collaboration. Our mission is to enable companies to grow by turning facts into sustainable business practices. Our software enables our customers to effectively and precisely quantify the risk associated with their suppliers. We aim to make it easy for businesses to monitor and ensure responsible business conduct throughout their entire supply chain through the use of data, AI and tools to work with and follow up their suppliers. 

Our customers range from public procurement organizations to small, medium and major private companies. The company has three main shareholders, where Alytic AS, a technology and data focused investment company owned by Arendals Fossekompani ASA, is the majority shareholder.

To support the business growth, we are looking for a Tech Lead that enjoys building services, engage in choices involving both business and technology, lead projects, inspire your co-workers and enjoy working in a cross-functional team.

In the role as Tech Lead your main responsibilities will be:

• Engage with product and commercial leadership in the company to find innovative and efficient technical solutions to solving the customers jobs-to-be-done.

• Build and launch new products, improvements of the existing products.

• Be able to work across the full cycle from planning, to development, to configuring secure infrastructure and deployment of the services you build.

• Define best-practice technology, methodology, and tools to help Factlines deliver on its mission.

• Lead development of initiatives to improve our product, collaborating with a cross-functional team of product, commercial, design and technical experts.

Profile and requirements:

• Higher education within a relevant field of study.

• Experience from a tech or software company, ideally experience from working in a small and agile company with short decision processes and a focus on time-to-market.

• Experience with, or strongly motivated to, take the lead in a team and help your colleagues develop professionally.

• Experience building cloud solutions. It's a big plus if you have experience in developing and operating SaaS services.

• Be able to gain insight into our domain.

• Motivate and inspire those around you.

The following are parts of our current tech stack or areas of competence that will be relevant in our company. We don’t necessarily expect you to have experience with the exact topics mentioned here, but it would be great if you have experience with some of them:

• Fullstack SvelteKit with TypeScript

• PostgreSQL with temporal tables

• Deploying, running and monitoring applications in AWS, using Infrastructure as Code (AWS CDK)

• Product analytics / product engineering, using tools like Posthog

• Publishing and documenting external APIs

• Integrating data sources to extract customer data

• Integrating external/public data sources

• Integrating AI / machine learning models
