We’re now looking for a new colleague to join NG Nordic in the Sustainable Materials platform. Our expertise in Sustainable Materials, is to create circular industrial partnerships. We provide scaled access to circular and critical raw materials, with a low carbon footprint, by advanced processing and upscaling.

Are you passionate about sustainability and eager to turn ESG data into action that drives real change? Maybe you are our new Sustainability Analyst. You will be part of the Impact Team, a cross-functional unit of four people working across all markets and business units, focusing on both sustainability and innovation.

We are operating in Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Finland and Poland. In this role, you’ll work closely with our different business units such as Metals, Cables, IBA & Ashes, and WEEE to support the platform’s ESG ambitions — from CO₂ calculations to strategy development and regulatory reporting.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Handle and analyze ESG data from various business units
• Ensure timely and accurate data reporting and forecasting
• Support decarbonization planning (Scopes 1, 2, and 3)
• Contribute to EU Taxonomy screening, sustainability ratings, and risk assessments
• Develop ESG content for customer reports and sales material
• Engage in internal and external sustainability communication
• Participate in key projects including Double Materiality Assessments and SBTi

What We’re Looking For

• 3–5 years of relevant experience, ideally with ESG/sustainability data and reporting
• Strong analytical, writing, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and across remote teams
• Experience with stakeholder communication at all levels
• Higher education in a relevant field (e.g., business, sustainability, engineering)
• Knowledge of EU sustainability regulations is a plus

Bonus Points If You...

• Speak or understand Finnish — a definite advantage
• Have experience working with CO₂ footprint calculation and EU Green Deal requirements

Location & Travel

The role is open to candidates located in Norway, Sweden, or Finland, with regular travel to business sites expected.
