Our current department manager has accepted new challenges in Pure Salmon Technology and we now look for his successor.

As the Department Manager you will be responsible for productivity and daily operation of the Electrical and Automation team. This role offers the opportunity to engage in domestic and international projects. At Pure Salmon Technology, you will benefit from a supportive and inclusive work environment that emphasizes value-based leadership and features a flat organizational structure with efficient decision-making processes. You will have experienced Team Leads under your wings to handle the daily operations.  

Key Responsibilities: 

• Daily operation of the El & Automation Department, including setting and following up on goals, motivating team members, and ensuring high-quality deliverables. 

• Setting strategic long and short-term department goals and evaluating outcomes 

• Ensure that the department has sufficient competence and capacity to carry out tasks within all core activities 

• Managing a departmental budget and forecasting budgetary requirements.  

• Contribute to tender work 

• Keep a close dialogue with our clients both internally and externally 

• Take part in internal development projects 

• Work closely with the managers of the other departments in Pure Salmon Technology 

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or similar relevant education 

• +5 years with automation systems and software development, including international experience 

• Experience from a project driven organization 

• Experience as Team Lead or People Manager 

• Fluent in Norwegian and English, both oral and written
