Product Stewardship Specialist

The Product Stewardship Department is instrumental to ensure that our products always are available for customers with the correct product information in an efficient way. 

The department is responsible for creating and managing product master data and technical product documentation for Jotun Performance Coatings to ensure compliance with internal and external business rules. This also includes responsibility for work processes, digital tools and interaction with a large network of people across functions and regions. 

We are looking for a pro-active and structured person to contribute in our journey to streamline product data, processes and digital support for efficient product assortment management for all product categories and regions. In this you will work closely with many people and departments.

Product Stewardship Department is organized in Performance Coatings Global Marketing and the position reports to the Product Stewardship Manager.

Responsibilities

Create and manage product master data to ensure that products sold in Jotun has the correct set up to be manufactured, sold, and documented.

Guide the organization and manage adherence to the product code structure. 

Create and maintain Technical Data Sheets (TDS), Application Guides (AG)

Create labels and provide support to the users and factories.

Administration of the color approval process.

Participate and contribute with expertise to various cross functional projects.

Contribute to improving our digital solutions providing product data to internal/external interfaces.

Responsibility for selected digital tools e.g. Product master data and paint system data-bases.

Offer fast support to the global network by following up on enquires to the department.

Conduct other relevant Product Stewardship tasks and assignments.

Required qualifications

Bachelor graduate within relevant subject and relevant job experience.

Skilled in Microsoft 365 platform and complex IT systems (Ex. ERP)

Experience with product master-data creation and use across digital platforms is preferred.

Experience with creating technical product documentation and labels is preferred 

Interest in digitalization of processes and open for learning and implementing new practices.

A business-oriented mindset to align data management and activities with business goals.

Skills related to defining and communicating digital needs to support our product processes.

Ability to work collaboratively with various teams and departments.

English is our work-language.  

Preferred

Knowledge and experience related to management of data and related processes is an advantage.

Different functional backgrounds and work experience can be relevant for this position.
