This striking statement piece has bold colours, textures and shapes and will definitively be an attraction in any room. In addition to pebbles mixed with paint, there is also sand which makes an interesting texture. The idea behind this painting was to create a visual expression of looking out, past our horizon, into the unknown and inspire us all to move forward with optimism and courage.
By building up many layers of texture, sand and colour, using brushes and palette knives, the artist creates a rich surface and vibrant relationships between random shapes and deliberate markings in her work.
This painting can hang horizontally or vertically, and the signature is on the side.
