Are you a tech-savvy or curious person with strong math teaching skills?

As an Educational Math Content Developer, you will develop educational math content for our platform, www.houseofmath.com.  

The platform uses gamification to help math learners experience the subject in a new, fast and easy way. House of Math’s platform has several different educational areas that help enrich and supplement the learning experience.  

On our extensive platform we offer the entire K-13 curriculum, consisting of 3D animated videos and interactive exercises that act as the building blocks of our AI driven digital learning paths for the entire educational journey.  

We are now looking for a candidate that possess the ability to convey mathematics in an easy way for everyone to understand. You have a strong math foundation and experience teaching math in school or privately. 

As an Educational Math Content Developer, you will work with cutting edge AI tools to effectively create manuscripts for world-class math learning and develop interactive math activities to accompany them. We do not expect you to have prior knowledge on how the AI tools work. You get to be creative, use your communication skills and teach math to people all over the world! You will collaborate with the product, animation, development teams and data & AI teams to facilitate math education in an innovative way.  

We're looking for someone who: 

• Has math teaching expertise and/or math teaching experience. 

• Has strong communication skills as a teacher. 

• Has good digital competency or a willingness to learn the technicalities 

• Master or equivalent in STEM, Math education or equivalent. 

• Speaks and writes fluent English. 

It would be nice if you: 

• Are comfortable teaching college-level topics in math. 

• Speaks and writes fluent Norwegian. 

• Can visualize new solutions and concepts to make the learning experience exciting and fun. 

• Have the ability to be flexible and agile in the workplace by sharing insights effectively with the team to quickly pivot and make decisions. 

• Are adaptable. 

• Are creative and contribute to a positive work environment with a good sense of humour.
