As Aker Solutions’ global recruitment partner NES Advantage is now looking for: Piping Work Preparation Coordinator with experience in onshore or offshore projects.
 
The project is led from Bergen.

We do business development and execute modifications and maintenance projects. There is a global trend towards decarbonization, and we aim to help our customers to decarbonize their operations and measure their emissions to manage them more efficiently, for instance by delivering brownfield electrification of existing offshore facilities. Now we explore opportunities in the aftermarket for renewables, to deliver offshore maintenance for the renewable sector when the market is ready. Aker Solutions employs approximately 11,000 people in more than 20 countries.
 
What will you be doing?

• Coordinate and prepare input to work preparation.

• Establish and develop 'job cards input' for both prefabrication, installation and testing of piping, pipe supports and inline equipment.

• Coordinate with the design team for their deliveries (Piping ISO) according to the schedule.

• Coordinate with the MTO engineer to make sure the MTO is in place.

• Communicate with other discipline personnel (e.g. Technical Safety, Mechanical Completions, Welding coordinator etc) for their input to the job card.

• Participate in the meetings with prefab-coordinators and workshop operators to give the status and plan for engineering deliveries (job cards and the material).

 
Qualifications we think you should have:

• Relevant technical education.

• Ability to work independently in a hectic environment.

• Good knowledge of general computer technology.

• Experience from piping design /construction is a benefit.

• Knowledge of NavisWorks and MIPS.

• Fluency in Norwegian and English, both verbal and written.
