Are you ready to take the lead on one of Øglænd System`s most important product areas?

We're looking for a strategic and commercially minded Product Manager to own and develop our cable ladder and cable tray portfolio – the backbone of our electrical infrastructure offering.

This is a central role in our Group Technology & Marketing team, where you’ll drive product direction, ensure commercial success, and lead portfolio development globally. You’ll work across markets and segments, engaging with sales, engineering, development, and marketing to make sure our solutions are relevant, competitive, and future-proof.

Key Responsibilities

Portfolio Strategy & Leadership

• Own the global product strategy for cable ladders and trays – defining roadmap, lifecycle, and long-term market positioning.

• Analyze commercial performance, customer feedback, and market trends to ensure portfolio relevance, profitability, and growth contribution.

• Actively manage product lifecycle including phase-outs, product family cleanup, and portfolio optimization.

• Monitor market developments to understand strategic implications and how to maintain a leading position. Opportunity Development & Innovation

Opportunity Development

• Identify product and application opportunities aligned with segment needs, project trends, and global potential.

• Develop business cases and business opportunity descriptions (BoDs) to support investment.

• Represent the commercial focus in development projects, ensuring market-fit and feasibility from idea to launch.

• Gather input from key regions and segments to create a prioritized roadmap for new innovations

Technical Marketing & Sales Enablement

• Identify key selling points to develop value propositions tailored to different segments. These will be used in product launches and other commercial initiatives.

• Plan and coordinate product documentation, digital assets such as 3d libraries to fit the need of our global organization.

• Gather and document user stories and customer feedback to drive both marketing impact and continuous improvement.

Training & Internal Enablement

• Contribute to trainings and knowledge transfer to strengthen product knowledge across the organization.

• Identify competence gaps and ensure internal teams are well-equipped to sell and support our ladder and tray systems effectively.

What You Bring

• Experience in product management, technical marketing, or similar roles – ideally within industrial products, electrical infrastructure, or mechanical systems.

• Strong commercial instincts with the ability to translate customer needs and market trends into actionable strategies.

• Experience with project bidding processes is highly beneficial for this role. This can include preparing and submitting proposals, understanding client requirements, negotiating terms, and securing contracts.

• Technical understanding of cable management systems and their application in large-scale electrical installations.

• Analytical mindset – comfortable using data and insights to drive decisions.

• You use your communication and collaboration skills to promote engagement and team spirit with colleagues from diverse functions and cultures. Curious, proactive, structured, and not afraid to challenge the status quo.
