Do you want to be our next Insulation Engineer?

As Aker Solutions’ global recruitment partner NES Advantage is now looking for: Insulation Engineer with experience in onshore or offshore projects.

The project operates in 15/13 Rotation and is led from Stord.
 
Aker Solutions’ New Build segment delivers oil & gas and renewables offshore developments and fabrication products, mainly focused on the Norwegian Continental Shelf and selective international markets. The segment is responsible for large EPCI projects, both within oil and gas and renewables, including business development and project execution, typically large topsides including fixed or floating substructures, onshore facilities, FPSOs offshore wind HVDC topside and jackets, offshore aquaculture floaters and decommissioning and recycling.
 
 
What will you be doing?

• Prepare and ensure right quality of job packages in accordance with project requirements

• Ensure that the building method is implemented

• Follow up and ensure that all changes are implemented in the work packages

 
Qualifications we think you should have:

• Theoretical knowledge and understanding of Piping & Equipment Insulation work and requirements

• Experience with creating work orders and working as a field engineer

• Knowledge of how to use MIPS, CCS, 3D model/Navis

• Knowledge of applicable project documents, standards, and specifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or technician with relevant skills. Relevant experience may make up for formal education

• Fluency in English - written and verbal communication

• Good collaboration skills.

• Ability to work independently

• Strong work ethics and proactive attitude
