As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will complete mechanical design and engineering, prototyping and qualification, as well as commercialization activities.
As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for:
Contributing to develop new technology as part of our engineering group.
Managing project work related to the development of robotic equipment for use in oilwells, including:
- Requirements definition
- Identification of the best conceptual solution to address the requirements
- 3D modelling
- Drafting (2D drawings)
- Engineering calculations
- Building and testing of prototypes
- Experimental testing and qualification testing
- Participation in technical discussions with clients
- Improving existing products
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
Have a MSc or BSc degree in a relevant engineering discipline
Have proven experience in R&D / product development (design, engineering, prototyping, commercialization)
Have good communication skills and be fluent in English
Be talented and driven
Be a fast learner, able to work independently, and as part of a team
