Automation Engineer with extensive experience in SAS safety system design for a large oil & gas FEED project in Asker!

Introduction:

We arelooking for a skilled automation engineer to work in a large oil & gas FEEDproject consisting of new platform design, brownfield modification work andinterface to several contractual interfaces. The right candidate will have theopportunity to develop his/her skills within engineering of Automation systems,working with the SAS safety system design.

Responsibilities:

SystemDesign, interface and follow up of ESD, PSD and F&G System as appointed byautomation team lead
Develop SAS Safety system design according to project requirements and atrequired detail level (FS, Hierarchy design, C&E, FPDS, I/O and HMI sketchinput)
Design and specify SIS solutions that are aligned with existing plant, forintegration of SIS systems.
Specification of Global SIS system design through contractual interfaces
Participation in required multidiscipline reviews
Ensure that vendor and engineering information required for progress of thework is identified and communicated to the project
Interface to other disciplines, contractors, suppliers and client
Offshore survey may be required

Qualifications:

Efficientcommunicator, who communicate well in English - Both orally and in writing

Cooperativeworking attitude and acceptance for multicultural team environment
Ability to work independently as well as in team
Systematic and accurate, with high loyalty to deadline and quality requirements
Proactive, seeking advice and share own experiences with others

Work Experience:

Minimum 10years’ experience from automation engineering in green field projects
Minimum 6 years’ Experience from automation and SIS system design, includingexperience with brownfield modifications on a SIS system.

Experienceand thorough knowledge of automation design and networks according to relevantstandards such as NORSOK, ATEX, PTIL, and IEC

Education:

Bachelor orhigher

Required Certificates:

FSE-course, valid through the engagement

Ex-course, valid through the engagement
