Instrument - Senior Discipline Responsible Engineer DRE 

Essential tasks in the role

• Senior Discipline Responsible Engineer (Senior DRE) is responsible for discipline engineering activities.

• The Senior DRE shall ensure that the work within the discipline is carried out according to plan and that progress is reported.

• The Senior DRE shall ensure that potential changes/deviations are identified and logged in accordance with project change control system.

• Produce/understand new documentation and drawings such as Cauce & Effect, System Control Diagrams (SCD) diagrams, loop drawings for process, Fire & Gas and safety systems; IS Loop Calculations.

• Revise existing documentation and drawings.

• Discipline check and approval of produced documents and drawings in the project.

• Order all instrument materials needed for offshore installation.

• Must be able to understand P&IDs and drawings from different disciplines.

• Discussions with Client and vendor representatives to find optimal technical solutions.

Required Qualifications:

• More than 5 years’ experience in engineering within the Norwegian Oil & Gas industry.

• Must have experience and good knowledge of relevant regulations and standards, such as NORSOK, PTIL and API standards.

• High degree of self-learning skills

• Knowledge of modifications on onshore installations when in operation

Communications - Language

• Excellent Norwegian and English writing & speaking skills

Background:

• Bachelor or Master degree, lack of education requires at least 10-15 years of relevant work experience

Courses:

• Valid EX - Basic (min 6-8 hrs online class / 3 days classroom education)

• Valid FSE high and low voltage with first aid courses

Duration

• Planned start date: Asap

• Planned end date: 31.12.2026

Workplace

• Stavanger, 5 days a week
