Olympus 35EC. A vintage Japanese automatic camera with 'zone' focusing. The user sets the ASA (ISO) but the other settings are automated.
New batteries fitted in February 2024, tested in June 2025 and works well. Some dust in the viewfinder, but the lens is pristine.
A small dent on the top left edge - see picture three. This is cosmetic and doesn't affect the working of the camera.
Comes with a UV filter.
Comes with (what I assume is) its original strap.
One of the two screws that attaches the film-rewind lever to the body went missing some years ago. To prevent the lever from coming loose I tape it down when the camera goes out with me - see picture six (This is quite a flimsy design and I've noticed that other cameras in the 35 family have a different design for the film-rewind mechanism)
