ICT Operator

Univers AS’s goal is to be the best global product supplier for operations management software within renewable power. We put a lot of investment, efforts, and passion into reaching this vision! Univers AS is now seeking a skilled ICT operator to support product development, deliveries, and ICT operations. We deliver customer solutions such as Software as a Service from our own data center and in Azure. As an ICT operator in Univers AS, you will get the opportunity to work with our ICT infrastructure, secure service levels to customers, contribute as ICT architect, and provide support for implementation of products and solutions within renewable energy to our customers. You will become a part of a skilled team where we support and motivate each other.

Responsibilities:

• Operation, and maintenance of the company's ICT platform, such as network, security architecture, servers, laptops, support services, e-mail, phone and software etc.
• Supporting hosting services, delivery, and deployment of our product, Bazefield

Desired educational background:

• Preferably a degree and relevant experience in ICT operations
• Strong English language skills, Norwegian language skills would be an advantage.

• You are trustworthy, responsible, and dedicated to your work.
• Soft skills like flexibility, openness, and ability to adapt to an agile environment are also appreciated skills in Univers AS.

Technology skills:

We are looking for an ICT Operator with some skills in the technologies listed below, and what you do not have experience with, you need to a have eagerness and willingness to learn:

• Operating and maintenance of OS (Windows and Linux)
• Virtual platforms (Hyper-V, VMWare, etc)
• Cloud platforms (Mainly Azure, other platforms may be applicable)
• Experience with cloud services, like databases services, data lakes, container clusters and/or others is an advantage
• Operational services (backup, server monitoring, security patching, etc.)
• Network infrastructure (Sophos, Cisco, WLC, FirePower, or others), with good knowledge of (VLAN, IPv4, IPSEC, NAT, SSL, VPN, 802.1X, etc.)
• Data security (network security solutions, firewalls, reverse proxy, DLP, IDS etc.)
• Application operation and maintenance (MS SQL Server, Office365, OpenVPN, IIS, NPS RADIUS, PKI, Active Directory, GPO, Exchange, etc.)
• Hardware operation and maintenance (HP, RAID, NAS, etc.).
• Operation and maintenance of end-user equipment (laptops, workstations, mobile phones).
