About the position and us

We are looking for a Senior Tax and Transfer Pricing Manager who are proactive and experienced in transfer pricing compliance, regulations and emerging trends.

This role actively contributes to local finance teams on transfer pricing matters also country tax to ensure compliance with local legislation and company policies.

This position will be based in Norway/Kongsberg.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Ensure transfer pricing compliance across the Kongsberg automotive group, including timely reporting, compliance with Group Policies and compliance with relevant transfer pricing regulations and emerging trends (e.g. Pillar Two)
• Manage Transfer Pricing documentation, and provide support to local Finance teams on Transfer Pricing matters
• Manage local country tax compliance processes to ensure compliance with local legislation and company policies
• Proactively monitor and identify potential tax issues and tax planning opportunities for Kongsberg operations.
• Review, revise and set up intercompany transactions and maintain/update intercompany agreements.
• Liaise with group treasury with tax planning issues as required.
• Manage tax audits, including responding to tax authorities on matters or queries, coordinating the support from external advisors.
• Manage tax accounting, reporting processes and assist in preparing tax estimates and statutory tax provision calculations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional, regional and local stakeholders to provide ongoing support to subsidiaries from a direct tax standpoint.
• Support the M&A team in tax related matters.

Ideal profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a tax/transfer pricing position with a consultancy firm and/or within the tax department of a multinational company
• Bachelor / master's in economics, law or equivalent, combined with a further certification
• Solid professional experience in a tax/transfer pricing position with a consulting firm and/or in the tax department of a multinational company
• Excellent knowledge of international corporate taxation and transfer pricing, as well as general understanding of indirect tax matters
• Hands-on and can-do attitude and high ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
• Solid technical accounting and tax ability, experience in dealing in technically challenging and complicated matters and a team player personality that can work with teams at all levels
• Experience working in a Global business environment
• Track record in working with Mergers and Acquisitions
• Fluent English is as a must-have
• Strong relationship management, analytical and communication skills
