Your Role 

The Renewables & Utilities team is responsible for developing and managing the product portfolio towards the Renewable & Utilities market. This now includes Offshore Wind which is a new and important development area for Kongsberg Digital and have high strategic importance going forward.

The team is now hiring a Product Manager for Offshore Wind.

Your main responsibility will be nothing short of extraordinary:

• Be responsible for shaping our offshore wind software offering
• Be our foremost product expert and ambassador
• Own our product roadmap and help create a product vision and strategy
• Understand the unique needs of the Operators in Offshore Wind and identify value propositions

• Manage creative ideation processes and promote ideas that push the product strategy
• Work actively with the product development team(s) to implement the development plans as well as operating and maintaining the product.
• Engage with growth and customer success teams to support commercial processes and general sales activities to ensure commercial success for the application.
• Become part of a fun and engaged team, working in a fast-paced environment within a fast-growing tech company.

Having a background and experience in the Offshore Wind industry would be incredibly valuable:

• Experience from working in the Offshore Wind industry, perferably with a focus on operations and maintenance (O&M)
• Interest in digital technology, software development and cloud technologies in order to communicate well with development teams.
• An understanding of B2B software-as-a-service business models
• Commercial acumen with good understanding of enterprise sales as well as the financial perspectives of product development.
• Ability to conduct market analysis, competitor benchmarking, and customer research to inform product strategy and roadmap.
• Enjoys being customer facing and evolving product vision and strategy based on feedback from the market.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of a product, while at the same time support the total vision of Kongsberg Digital.
• An outgoing and positive mindset that contributes both to a good social environment and company culture, and that help others succeed.
