IT Solution Architect

The position

• Take the lead in delivering the future of Energy IT solutions, IT architecture and integration across business areas.
• Design new solutions based on customer requirements, improve existing software and IT architecture in cloud.
• Build and grow both IT and business knowledge.
• Collaborate within own team, other Equinor teams and externals, and also architecture networks.
• Take a lead role with our engaged teams and drive key initiatives forward.
• Guide and set clear frameconditions and expectations to the DevOps teams.

You

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, Computer Science, IT Engineering or equivalent.
• Good experience with infrastructure and engineering design, DevOps, database management, SQL, cloud architecture, system security measures, business analysis and web platforms.
• Experience with IT design and architecture work.
• Ability to break down complex challenges into manageable tasks.
• Ability to take on the lead in architecture for this domain.
• Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal. Norwegian would be beneficial but not mandatory.
