The energy transition is firmly underway and continues to drive fundamental shifts in the offshore market. The 4 offshore sub-segments (oil & gas, shipbuilding, offshore wind and New Energy) will see a massive CAPEX investment in Large & Complex Projects in the next decade. Thus, the Hilti Group and Øglaend System are taking steps to Make Construction Better and strengthening the Large Project set-up. Here is your chance to become part of the Large Projects Organization where you will lead multiple projects. You will oversee the end-to-end flow from Engineering solutions to Fulfillment, in coordination with the Commercial Teams in the markets to ensure high quality customer experience.

As Project Execution Manager you will drive the project execution to maximize the results, whilst delivering the project on time, in conformity with the contract and managing the customer expectations. Business travel will be a part of the position.


Key responsibilities are:

  • Project Execution Strategy: based on the contract, execute the project to achieve the project performance goals and strategy in place.
  • Communication: representing Øglænd towards the customer; controlling and managing this interface and relationship. Manage the internal and external communication loop.
  • Project Organization: Organizes the project team and ensures that the team members have clearly identified roles, responsibilities, defined interfaces and are empowered within their scope of duties.
  • Risk and Opportunities: Defines a risk management plan. Constantly updates and reviews the risk and opportunities of the project. Evaluates and decides on actions that benefit the overall performance of the project. Follows-up these actions implementation and result
  • Project Process: Assumes full responsibility for the project from end of acquisition until all obligations are complete at delivery. Also provides feedback on the performance of the project and processes.

 

Qualification:

  • Minimum 5-10 years' work experience in project management.
  • Experience in document control and document handling systems.
  • Experience with customer contact and conducting customer meetings.
  • Effective communication & collaboration skills and interest in sharing knowledge and developing colleagues' competence.
  • Is service-minded and cooperates well in teams across departments.

 

About you:

  • You are a mechanical engineer, structural engineer or similar with a passion for sustainable solutions.
  • You have a desire to further develop products and services, which reduce the overall costs of the renewable projects.
  • The right candidate will have a portfolio which demonstrates creative thinking, self-driven personality, budget & financial awareness, and technical skills, illustrating the ability to develop fit for purpose engineering designs and manage projects teams.
  • You must be an excellent communicator capable of explaining engineering principles verbally and in writing and through sketching.
  • Excellent spoken and written English.
  • You have good computer skills and perhaps experience with 3D modelling.

 

Location: Øglænd System, Klepp in Norway or Øglænd System, Haderselv in Denmark.
