Purpose & Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a start-up environment with our Programme team, assisting them to implement a unique programme of events and content that foster tangible and measurable impact.

Our ideal candidate will have strong interest in social impact and driving positive change, and ideally some experience of creating engaging events and measuring their impact. They should be a flexible and proactive team-player, and willing to learn in a fast-paced start-up atmosphere. They should also have:

  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Some experience of event management and/or content creation

Responsibilities & Key Duties

  • Collecting all information required to get a programming session approved and published online.
  • Publish all programming sessions on The Conduit’s website and Member’s Portal.
  • Work with events team on BEOs.

Guest management:

  • Researching and reaching out to potential industries, companies and communities that align with The Conduit’s values and mission to invite them to The Conduit’s programming sessions.
  • Prepare and share guest lists for all programming sessions.
  • Sending out reminder emails to all registered guests for programming sessions.
  • Sending follow up feedback forms to all registered guests for programming sessions.

Speaker logistics:

  • Support travel logistics for speakers and collaborate with their teams when needed.
  • Be on hand to welcome speakers before a programming sessions.
  • Follow up with speakers post-programming to offer a 6-month complimentary Conduit membership

Calendars:

  • Keep an overview of all upcoming events that are a part of our cultural and impact programme and assist with the programme calendar.

Event support:

  • Support during weekly impact programming.
  • Act as a point of contact, alongside the Programme and Community Coordinators, for queries relating to the impact and cultural programme, as well as community building activities.
  • Assist with day-to-day business operations for the programme team (programme administration, scheduling, reporting, etc) and update The Conduit’s CRM system

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as the Marketing Team and the Operations Team to ensure smooth delivery of programming.

  • Adhere to all Company Policies and Procedures

  • Actively champions and promotes The Conduit Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Strategy

  • Support and contribute to the overall success of The Conduit

  • Alongside your key duties you may be asked to complete other tasks as and when necessary and reasonably required in line with business needs.

Skills & Experience

  • University degree or equivalent work experience
  • Passionate about social and environmental impact
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Digitally Native.

Nice to haves:

  • Event management and/or content creation experience
  • Customer-facing experience
  • A network of potential speakers, partners and program contributors.
