Do you want to develop your HR skills and knowledge together with a professional team? Our new HR Advisor will work in a team of seven highly skilled HR advisors who are eager to welcome a new colleague.
Jotun’s global headquarters is located in Sandefjord, Norway, where Jotun Norway has 1000 employees working in state-of-the-art facilities covering services from local factory operations at Vindal, to global product development in our new research and development centre at Gimle, one of the largest privately owned R&D centres in Northern Europe.
A key to our international success is global rotation of competence. Jotun A/S is a truly global company with a high frequency of international movements of employees. The new HR Advisor will be responsible for all mobility cases in and out of Headquarters in Sandefjord, ensuring that employees and their families experience a seamless and easy transfer across borders. In addition, our new colleague will work with recruiting, handling both internal and external recruitment processes.
The HR department works closely with our more than 200 managers to secure that all HR related activities support the Business- and HR strategy and the development of Jotun A/S, and are conducted per policies, practices and legal requirements.
The position will report to HR Manager Norway, and be located at Vindal in Sandefjord.
Job description:
- Handling all mobility cases in and out of Sandefjord. This includes following up on the Visa process, administration of relocation of employees and their families, and advise both the managers and employee on policies, local laws and regulations. This also includes implementing global mobility policies and keeping updated on local rules and regulations.
- Independently handle the entire recruitment process – from communication with the hiring manager, through advertising, screening, interviewing and concluding with writing offer letters and contracts.
- Keep updated on local laws and regulations within the HR field, and specifically within the area of mobility and recruitment.
- Administrate and process transactions in our HR management system, and handle administrative tasks connected to the full employee lifecycle.
- Give advice and input across a wide range of HR areas to all stakeholders within the organisation.

Professional qualifications:
- Bachelors or master’s degree in HR, Sociology or psychology- or other HR related field.
- Relevant experience and HR background can compensate for formal education, and we also invite graduates to apply.
- Experience with Global Mobility is an advantage.
- Experience from working in an international environment is an advantage.
- Experience from recruitment processes, and certification in assessment tools, is an advantage.
